Overview

The Inside Sales Executive (ISE) will be responsible for driving new customer sales within the UK independents marketplace. New customer acquisition will focus on selling Stericycle services to new customers while identifying cross-sell opportunities for services. This role includes proactively and reactively targeting new customers across a range of vertical sectors. The ISE represents the best interests of the company and promotes the organization positively to customers and prospects. The ISE will work closely with the Inside Account Executive (IAE) and support managing sales enquiries from several independent customers while driving activity on new business sales.


Key Responsibilities

* Manage new business prospects by making and taking client communications (phone or email) to facilitate net new account growth.
* Handle inbound warm leads and, when required, make outbound calls and follow up on campaigns.
* Utilize the Stericycle telesales process and defined pricing and policies to secure new customers efficiently and in line with customer expectations and business KPIs.
* Use SFDC and other defined IT systems to manage pipelines, report activity, track sales, send contracts, and communicate professionally both internally and externally.
* Collaborate with local and inside sales colleagues, sales and marketing leadership, regional Operations, Client Services, IT, and other teams to enhance the service offering to new customers.
* Attend internal meetings and trainings with current market data to promote a professional sales attitude and maintain Stericycle’s standards for customer service, security, and environmental consciousness.
* Follow Stericycle policies for team members, including Commercial DOA, Pricing Book, SFDC policies, tender and bidding processes, and standard Ethics and Health & Safety codes.
* Conduct market research and maintain knowledge of the clinical waste market within the defined territory, including competitor activity and new legislation; share insights with team and leadership as appropriate.


Qualifications

* Education: High school or equivalent (North America & LATAM).
* Experience (EMEAA): Strong negotiator with excellent listening skills and the ability to interpret and align outcomes for all parties.
* Experience (UK/EMEA preferred): Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth in telesales or territory management; strong relationship-building over the phone.
* Industry-relevant sales experience is not essential, but a demonstrable track record in sales growth is expected.
* Ability to work in a matrix environment with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, finance, bid team, safety and compliance).
* Ability to operate under pressure in a high-volume, competitive telesales environment, both individually and in a team.
* Proficiency with Sales-related IT systems (Salesforce.com) to manage pipelines and sales activity.
* Experience in competitive, high-pressure environments; target-driven mindset.
* Energetic, highly motivated, results-oriented with a positive attitude; driven by success.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a clean criminal records check.
* Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite) and excellent time management, self-discipline, and organizational skills.
