Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all aspects of the HR function, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and performance management.
* Advise senior leaders and line managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
* Oversee safer recruitment processes, maintaining compliance with statutory safeguarding requirements.
* Manage payroll data, contracts, and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Support staff wellbeing and professional development initiatives.
* Review and develop HR policies in line with current employment law and school requirements.
* Contribute to wider school improvement and staff engagement projects.
Person Specification
Essential:
* CIPD-qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent HR management experience.
* Strong generalist HR background with experience handling complex employee relations.
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, and HR systems.
* A discreet and professional approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and equality.
