Senior NOMAD Developer (Vice President)
Location: Bromley or Chester
Role Overview
As a Senior Developer in the Data Technology team, you will support strategic platforms across international payments, liquidity, loans and trade. Your primary responsibilities will include the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of a legacy international banking data warehouse, support for project delivery, and responding to audit and risk‑related requests. You will bring core expertise in the zVM NOMAD platform while also developing broader technical skills through exposure to technologies such as Informatica, Hadoop, and Starburst.
Responsibilities
* Analyse and profile international banking data in support of relevant lines of business.
* Design, develop and maintain system enhancements using NOMAD technology.
* Execute testing activities to support the quality, stability and successful implementation of code changes.
* Provide release support and production support for business‑critical live services.
What We Are Looking For
* Significant experience with the NOMAD vendor product.
* Demonstrable mainframe development experience, including hands‑on expertise with the zVM platform.
* Experience working within banking or financial services environments.
Skills That Will Help
* Experience with the UltraQuest vendor product.
* Broader mainframe development experience, including exposure to the zOS platform.
* Knowledge of treasury banking data domains, including payments.
