Main Responsibilities
* Manage bookings and generate quotes
* Drive outbound engagement with lapsed, existing and potential customers to maximise revenue
* Actively build relationships with clients for corporate, school, tour and private hire transport.
* Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, identifying, qualifying and converting new opportunities.
* Generate bookings for corporate travel, events, Uk and international tours and inter school work.
* Focus on converting enquiries into confirmed bookings, increasing brand visibility and driving revenue growth
* Execute sales strategies to increase visibility in a competitive market.
* Use of coach manager system to ensure efficient allocation of resources to the private hire division.
* Identify efficiencies through interworking of resources (vehicles and drivers)
* Use of coach manager system to generate insightful reports (hourly vehicle utilisation, revenue reporting etc).
* Track outbound sales volumes and pipeline against budget and forecast
* Drive efficient use of resources through working with operations team and the allocation of drivers to duties.
* Monitor and achieve monthly KPI relevant to the private hire department.
* Work closely with the senior management team to ensure that the private hire business plan is achieved.
* Attend bus and coach networking and sales events where required.
* Work with senior management team to ensure compliance with EU legislation, driver hours, driver paperwork etc.

Qualifications
* Competent in Microsoft excel and word.
* Proven experience in generating leads, sales and new clients (minimum of 2 year’s experience preferable)
* Allocations experience (vehicle and drivers) and ability to identify efficiencies through interworking of resources
* Experience with international private hire bookings, scheduling and requirements.
* Ability to identify efficiency savings
* Focus and experience in driving new business
* Ability to manage multiple enquiries
* Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly and at all levels.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Must be proactive, methodical and results orientated.
* Highly organised, motivated and able to prioritise workloads.
* Ability to manage own workload effectively and work to strict deadlines.
* Ability to use initiative and identify solutions when a problem or difficult situation arises.
* Ability to demonstrate credibility to build professional relationships with both employees and managers.
* Ability to collate and interpret raw operational data.
* Able to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
* A team player and willing to develop others to increase team and individual performance.
Hours of Work
40 hours per week Monday to Friday
