Overview

You will work with a busy HR team to support recruitment across the Council, placing adverts, advising candidates and supporting managers through the onboarding process of new recruits and managing staffing changes and leavers. You will support the administration of the full employee lifecycle, using a number of bespoke systems to support your day-to-day work.

This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification.


Responsibilities

If you like working at pace and with volume, this is the role for you. You must be comfortable with competing demands on your time and switching between tasks as needed, able to work with different systems and with excellent attention to detail. Being able to communicate with people at all levels, efficiently and proactively is key as you are the first point of contact for candidates, staff and recruiting managers.


Qualifications

* Minute taking skills and an interest in HR would also be advantageous.
