Site Manager – EV Hub Project (Scunthorpe)
Pay: £300 per shift
Start Date: January 2026 (potential early mobilisation in December 2025)
Duration: Approx. 10 weeks
Location: Scunthorpe
We’re delivering a new EV Charging Hub in Scunthorpe as part of a national rollout of clean-energy infrastructure. Works include multiple EV chargers, a new HV substation and LV pillars, plus full civils scope: excavation, bases, ducting, lighting, resurfacing, and reinstatement.
Ideal for a hands-on Civils-biased Site Manager with experience managing multi-discipline projects in power or EV infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead site operations ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery
• Manage subcontractors and oversee civils and electrical works
• Enforce H&S and CDM compliance
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Produce accurate site documentation and daily reports
• Maintain focus on safety, quality, and programme milestones
Requirements:
• SMSTS certification
• CSCS Gold Card or equivalent
• First Aid at Work – Level 3
• Understanding of CDM and Principal Contractor duties
• Experience in EV, civils, or power installation projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Confident with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
Preferred but not essential: IOSH Managing Safely, UKPIA / Safety Passport, CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator
