£25, - £26, per annum (plus additional 12.5% shift pay)

Our facilities and operations team are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our highly successful department of more than 50 sports staff dedicated to ensuring that an NTU student’s lifestyle is much more than lectures and lie-ins.

We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Fitness Instructor to energise our campus community. At NTU Sport, you’ll do more than lead workouts, you’ll build lasting relationships, drive customer retention, and create a welcoming, motivating atmosphere on the gym floor.

As a Fitness Instructor your main duties will include:
1. Engaging with customers,
2. Delivering fitness sessions such as Express Classes & Intro to Fitness
3. Complete cleaning and maintenance of equipment
4. Assist with front of house duties - customer queries, processing bookings, payments
5. Administrative support
6. Setting up of sports equipment
You will have a flexible approach and be professional in delivering exceptional customer service at all times. You must be reliable and conscientious with great communication and organisation skills, good team work and willingness to work evenings and weekends is essential.

We have a fantastic range of sports facilities at our City campuses, including industry-standard gym equipment, a 10m climbing wall, a sports hall, dance studios and a sports therapy suite offering physiotherapy and sports massage.
Our Clifton campus is home to the Lee Westwood Sports Centre, a fully floodlit all-weather astro-turf pitch, three brand new squash courts, an exercise studio, sports hall, grass pitches and a newly refurbished fitness suite.
Our Equestrian Centre at Brackenhurst features both indoor and outdoor arenas and holds a variety of events throughout the year, including unaffiliated and affiliated dressage competitions, and unaffiliated show jumping.
