Overview
We\'re on the lookout for an HR Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a maternity cover opportunity at our Toolstation site in Pineham, Northampton. GXO is seeking a talented and passionate individual for the position of HR Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will be working Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00, with some flexibility required. This is logistics after all!
Responsibilities
* Build and drive the HR people plan to support our overall business plan and develop our employee relations agenda
* Carry out the proactive development of line management capability through formal training, coaching and guidance on all HR related activities
* Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees to ensure current knowledge of employee legislation
* Facilitate harmonious employee relations with the site teams to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation
* Demonstrable experience in a similar HR management role, preferably in an operational environment and experience of solving complex employee relations cases
* A proven track record in change management and the ability to drive HR transformation
* Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching and motivational skills
* An organised, data-focused and conscientious approach to your work
* Up-to-date knowledge of both legal and audit compliance requirements
* CIPD qualified or working towards
