Site Manager – Groundworks (Freelance) Location: North East England Contract: Long-term freelance Start: Immediate We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Manager to oversee a groundworks package on a long-term freelance basis in the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, hands-on manager to join a busy project with an immediate start. Role & Responsibilities: * Day-to-day management of groundworks operations on site * Coordinating subcontractors, plant, and materials * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification * Managing RAMS, site inductions, and health & safety compliance * Liaising with the client, engineers, and senior management * Maintaining site records, progress reports, and quality control Requirements: * Proven experience managing groundworks/civils packages * SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certificates * Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations * Ability to manage programmes and drive productivity on site * Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently What’s on Offer: * Long-term freelance contract * Competitive day rate (DOE) * Immediate start on a well-run project To Apply: Please submit your CV or get in touch for more information...
