We are looking for a permanent, full-time Cook for our Christchurch Residential Services.

What does a Cook do? - He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko?
* To prepare all the daily meals for people we support in line with their service plans
* Carry out food satisfaction surveys, as directed by the Service Manager
* Follows established schedules in cooking, baking, sanitation, and related activities. This will include meal preparation for meals that will be cooked and served at a later date by staff
* Prepare and enhance dining area when on shift, including updating the visual menu board
* Maintain people's independence by encouraging and supporting meal prep as per their support plan
* Plan people's menus to meet nutrition and budgetary needs
* Establish and maintain menus for people we support that meet nutritional and budgetary needs, in consultation with whanau members, doctor, health advisor etc

* Earn competitive pay rates between $23.50 up to $29.10 per hour

Who are we looking for? - Ko wai ta tatou e rapu ana?
* People who are passionate about helping others, are kind and understanding
* National Certificate in Hospitality (Basic Cookery) (Level 3)
* Six months to one year experience of working in a health care environment/aged care facility
* Experience of cooking for many people at once
* Ability to work within agreed budget
* Knowledge and ability to work with IDDSI standards
* Full driver's licence is essential
* Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends
