As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Quality Department, including Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Auditors.
2. Maintain and continually improve the AS9100 Quality Management System.
3. Oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits.
4. Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
5. Ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
6. Manage supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits.
7. Act as the key contact for customer quality concerns and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes Required:
8. Proven experience in a Quality Management role within aerospace or a similar highly regulated industry.
9. Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
10. Experience leading audits and managing QMS systems.
11. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
12. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and inspection techniques.
13. Lean / Six Sigma qualifications (desirable).
