The role:
To operate the catering facility at one of our main campuses, ensuring the production of great quality food, in high volumes and to a high standard. The role is responsible for ordering, menu planning, cooking, cleaning, and till operation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook the food to a high standard
* Provide buffets/hospitality when ordered
* Complete all relevant food safety paperwork
* Review and contribute to menu creation
* Ensure all allergen information is supplied and correct
* Monitor food production, quality, quantities, and portion control
* Provide a team briefing daily
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment to a Level 5 Food Safety rating, ensuring all cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard and report any issues promptly
* Order and receive food and non-food items from our suppliers
* Deputise in the absence of the Manager
About you:
* NVQ level 2 in Food Preparation, or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience of cooking or assisting in a catering kitchen environment
* Ability to work efficiently and under pressure
* Excellent standards of food hygiene
