Role Information The school is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Officer to support the daily running of the school’s HR function. Key Responsibilities: Managing recruitment cycles: advertising roles, processing applications, arranging interviews, issuing contracts Overseeing onboarding, DBS checks, Right-to-Work verification, referee checks, and safeguarding compliance Maintaining the Single Central Record (SCR) to statutory standards Coordinating induction for new staff, including CPD and mandatory training Maintaining accurate personnel files and HR systems Supporting payroll processing and staff absence management Advising staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment matters Ensuring compliance with KCSIE, statutory guidelines, and employment law Coordinating appraisals, performance reviews, and probation processes Supporting wellbeing initiatives and staff engagement Producing HR reports and data analysis for SLT and governors This role requires excellent professionalism, strong communication, and high levels of accuracy.
