About the role
To develop training courseware through the analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for military training.
Skills and Experience
* Excellent communication skills at all levels both internally and within the customer organisation.
* Experience in course design and have contributed to the design of significant training courses.
* A good working knowledge of the training design and development processes for training media.
* Experienced and capable of working autonomously and within a team.
Desirable
* Experience in organisational design and development.
* Experience in the development of apprenticeship qualifications.
* Degree level education in a relevant area.
* Teaching and training development qualification at degree level.
* Human Resource Development qualification and experience.
* Membership of an appropriate professional body such as CIPD.
Responsibilities
* Work as a member of a team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for military training sites and organisations.
* Producing, maintaining and/or updating Training Design from Formal Training Statement (FTS) through to Delivery of Assessment Strategy (AStrat) and Assessment Specification (ASpec), Learning Specification (LSpec), Training Authorisation Document (TrAD) in DSAT compliant course templates.
* Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data.
* Participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis.
* Upkeep, update and revalidation of course syllabi and standards, trainer competence, qualification and experience requirements.
* Maintaining course information including course size limits, health and safety, rules and regulations, course length and required resources.
* Updating Training Design materials to incorporate relevant recommendations and feedback from internal and external assurance, ensuring training remains up-to-date and satisfies requirements.
* Identifying opportunities to provide accreditation for new and/or amended training as designed, and/or changes impacting existing accreditations.
* Championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
* Any other duties required to complete the CMDC Training Service.
