For ten years, London Arabia Organisation has been working with brands, embassies, organisations and institutions from around the world to increase cultural connections through different initiatives such as training courses, a private membership programme and events.

About the role:

(Note: in addition to these functions employees are required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required)


The main purpose of the role is to proactively increase membership through the recruitment of new members. You will be responsible for planning and developing sales within the area via telephone calls, virtual/online and face to face appointments, planning your time efficiently and working towards agreed targets. You will be responsible for promoting the LA services to potential members based on a thorough understanding of their needs.


This role is ideal for anyone looking to experience all sides of membership and events sales and marketing and be part of an organisation that makes a real difference.


Key Tasks:


* · To proactively promote membership and events of the London Arabia to business, organisations, universities and brands in London and the Arab world
* · To develop prospects through utilising market research reports, business magazines, journals, and newspapers; encouraging generation of leads from associates and work colleagues, partner organisations and other external sources, building market intelligence
* Attendance at LA events as and when required, including breakfast, lunch and evening events.
* · To work closely with the membership services, marketing, and events teams to arrange a series of campaigns and events aimed at attracting new partners and members.
* · Grow the portfolio of membership products, develop new product opportunities, and facilitate best practice sharing across the LA network to drive growth in the network.
* · Provide excellent co-ordination, customer care and communication skills.
* · Other duties as required by the Line Manager or Senior Management.
* · Raising of sponsorship for specific membership related activities.
* · Creating partnership proposals and develop partnerships
* · Produce and implement full social media and marketing plans to generate sales
* · Promote and sell all LA100 Services, including Events, Cultural courses and Sponsorship opportunities.
* · Support the team in delivering the LA’s Member Partnerships strategy.
* · Drive revenue from member facing activities through sponsorship and commercial partners.
* · Manage and deliver the LA’s portfolio of membership products and related programmes, including reviewing existing products and developing new offerings aligned with the membership team’s strategic focus on growth and sustainability.
* · Support the expansion of products to generate greater income for the network and LA, contributing to the strategic goal of growing income from membership commercial partnerships year on year against agreed targets.
* · Work with commercial partners to ensure the product offerings remain relevant and compelling to members, ensuring that products provide value and meet the needs of the network.
* · Manage inbound partnership enquiries, ensuring effective coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
* · Support the consultation process for developing and rolling out new member products and services, in line with the network’s evolving needs and income generation goals.



About you:


· Strong verbal and written communication are required

· Networking skills and building and making connections

· Ideally conversant with social media

· Experience in sales or a related field is helpful but not required

· Knowledge of using Adobe is preferred, but not required

· Must have full right to work in the UK and be based in London

· Ability to work without direct supervision

· An understanding of Arabic is helpful but not required


Pay :

Base salary up to £24000, plus generous uncapped commission

This is a hybrid position, working between home and an office in London
