Our client is currently recruiting a Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Purpose
A Sales Executive is responsible for helping to drive the growth of our business by identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining productive relationships with existing and potential customers. The role requires a proactive approach to generate leads, understand market trends, and convert prospects into loyal clients. This role includes a blend of mobile work and office-based tasks.
Duties
* Support with market research to identify potential customers and evaluate their needs.
* Actively seek out new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and social media channels.
* Help create regular reviews and sales reports to share performance metrics with management.
* Gather feedback from customers and share insights with internal teams to support product development and marketing strategies.
* Represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and other marketing events as required.
* Assist with promotional activities and special events to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
* Answer and direct incoming calls and emails; maintain central inboxes.
* Handle routine customer enquiries.
* Assist in scheduling meetings, events, and trade shows, ensuring proper logistics and materials are in place.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure order fulfilment and satisfactory customer delivery.
* Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate client and prospect data.
* Track sales pipelines and maintain records of sales activities and marketing initiatives.
* Support with market research to identify potential customers and evaluate their needs.
* Actively seek out new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and social media channels.
* Arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients, either face-to-face, over the phone, or via video conference.
* Listen carefully to clients’ requirements and provide tailored product or service presentations.
* Follow up on client enquiries and maintain contact to convert leads into sales.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and secure referrals.
Requirements
* Proven track record in sales or customer service, ideally as a Sales Executive or similar role in either B2B or B2C environments.
* Experience in account management, business development, or similar sales-based roles is beneficial.
* Full UK Driving License (Required)
