ServiceNow Platform Administrator / Developer (SC Cleared / SC Eligible)
We are supporting a global information technology, consulting, and business process services company in hiring an experienced ServiceNow Platform Administrator / Developer for a critical short-term engagement.
This role is ideal for hands‑on ServiceNow professionals with strong platform administration, development, and ITSM expertise, who are comfortable working in secure, enterprise environments.
* Location: Warwick (onsite 2–3 days per week)
* Security Clearance: SC Cleared or SC Eligible (mandatory)
Role Overview
You will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimising the ServiceNow SaaS platform, ensuring platform stability, security compliance, and continuous service improvement. The role involves close collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders while delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor platform health, performance, patching, and upgrades
* Troubleshoot and resolve platform‑related issues; elevate to ServiceNow support when required
* Configure and enhance core ServiceNow modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog
* Develop workflows, scripts, forms, dashboards, notifications, and UI components
* Manage users, roles, groups, and ACLs
* Maintain CMDB health, data accuracy, and governance
* Implement and support ITIL best practices
* Identify automation opportunities and support Agile delivery
* Design, develop, and maintain integrations with third‑party systems
* Develop and maintain custom code across ServiceNow modules
* Produce technical documentation and maintain the knowledge base
* Provide training and guidance to end users and stakeholders
* Deliver client‑facing consulting within a technology‑focused practice
Required Skills & Experience
* 4–5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow administration and development experience
* Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Core & Platform modules
* Hands‑on experience with ITSM, ITOM, TPRM, Service Portal, Scoped Applications
* Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB)
* Experience with workflow design, integrations, and performance tuning
* Experience working in Agile / SCRUM environments
* Strong troubleshooting, process, and stakeholder management skills
Certifications (Highly Desirable)
* ServiceNow System Administrator
* ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
* ITIL Foundation
