Pay: £13.50/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week, 5 days over 7 including some weekends.
Shifts: Between 6:30 and 19.30
We’re hiring a Cook to join our passionate team at Grantown on Spey. If you’re ready to grow your culinary career with a world-leading organisation that values work-life balance, this is your chance.
What You’ll Do:
* Cooking and preparing food for cadets at site, ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner services ensuring minimal wastage.
* Working collaboratively as part of a team of chefs and acting as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
* Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals.
* Assisting with deliveries and stock checks, placing food orders, and maintaining kitchen records.
* Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries. Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
* Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.
What We’re Looking For:
* Relevant culinary qualification (706/1, 706/2 or equivalent).
* Team player with effective communication skills.
* Confident, flexible, and innovative.
* Able to pass DBS and security vetting (UK resident for 3+ years).
