Vacancy: Site Manager Location: West Yorkshire Experience: Civils, groundworks, roads & sewers Contract Length: 6 Months UPB are a Sheffield-based construction recruitment specialist, working with a regional civil engineering contractor to hire a Site Manager. You will be working on a roads & sewers contract for a housing development, focussing on initial site set-up, roads, sewers and potentially plotworks. The contractor is an established groundworks company, with experience of delivering both volume build and bespoke builds. Key Responsibilities: * Management of site activity of site operatives * Manage quality of works delivery * Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets * Drive the project Programme * Ensure there is an efficient monitoring and registration process in place for site staff * Maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction. Required Qualifications & Training * CSCS Card * SMSTS * First Aid * Strong people skills * Previous experience of housing groundworks packages.
