You will be joining a regional 5-star housebuilder based out of their Northampton office working on projects from Stevenage to Northampton. The projects vary from private developments to affordable homes. They are a multi-accredited housebuilder with a strong pipeline of work and due to continius growth they are looking for a Site Manager to join their team starting on a project in Bedford.
Your new role
As a Site Manager, your role involves overseeing intricate and demanding development projects. Your primary objective is to ensure that every facet of the construction program aligns with specified financial, quality, safety, and construction standards. Here are the key responsibilities:
Coordination of On-Site Labor Activities: You’ll manage and coordinate all labour activities on-site, ensuring efficient collaboration amongst workers.
Timely Sitepletion: Your responsibility extends to driving the project topletion within the stipulated schedule.
Budget Adherence: Keeping the project within budget is crucial, and you’ll play a pivotal role in achieving this goal.
Customer Satisfaction: Ultimately, your success hinges on the satisfaction of your customers. Meeting their expectations and delivering a high-quality product is paramount.
Effective Sub-Contractor, Plant, and Material Management: You’ll oversee sub-contractors, plant operations, and material procurement to maintain smooth project execution.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards: Upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices is non-negotiable.
What you'll need to succeed
Successful candidates will have extensive experience of working within a Site Manager role or similar, gained within the house building industry. With a proven track record ideally supported by NHBC awards, you will be able to motivate and manage a successful site team. You will possess excellentmunication skills, a logical and systematic approach and will be driven by your own high standards and objectives. As a minimum, you will hold a CSCS Site Manager card, and a relevant qualification in Construction or CIOB membership is desirable.
