What does the day of a Cook look like?
* Producing varied, tasty menus for our residents, whilst also considering individual dietary requirements
* To provide special diets where necessary
* Cleaning and washing up after meals and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the kitchen
* Preparing and serving meals
* Guiding and coaching the kitchen team
* Stock control; stock replenishing/ordering
* Managing Food Health and Safety requirements, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up to date
Qualifications
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience working as a Cook, with the ability to accommodate a variety of dietary requirements. You should hold all the relevant qualifications and Food Hygiene Certificates, and be aware of all the relevant regulations.
