HR Manager (Maternity Cover) – Part-Time (25 Hours, Flexible)
( Fixed-Term (10–11 Months)
We’re hiring an experienced HR professional to support a friendly, family-run organisation during maternity cover. With 130+ employees across multiple sites, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step up, develop HR Manager experience, and make a real impact.
Hours: 25 hours per week across 5 days – flexible to suit you
What You’ll Do
* Provide HR advice to senior leaders
* Support and guide managers on performance, absence, conduct, and ER cases
* Review and update HR policies in line with UK employment law
* Lead recruitment activities and support training & development
* Oversee onboarding, induction, and probation processes
* Support payroll processing and maintain accurate HR records
* Promote wellbeing and engagement initiatives across the business
What We’re Looking For
* CIPD Level 5 or relevant HR experience
* Strong understanding of HR processes and UK employment law
* Confident, approachable, and highly organised
* Experience handling ER cases
* Able to support both hands-on HR tasks and strategic improvements
* Manufacturing or multi-site experience is a bonus
