We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated person who will be committed to improving outcomes for all our children. To assist and champion the support and inclusion of pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, working under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team, and SENDCO. The Senior Learning Mentor will work with pupils, parents, staff and outside agencies to ensure that the school fully supports pupils who need help to overcome barriers to learning, actively engage with families to promote positive outcomes and enable pupils to reach their full potential. We are looking for someone who: Has good knowledge in Early Years/ KS1 and KS2 Embraces the vision “Evert Child Achieves” and devotedly helps all students achieve this All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
