Summary
The First Cook performs various duties including serving customers, preparing food, transporting and emptying trash, cleaning the kitchen, serving and seating areas, assisting with receiving and storing stock, cashiering, checking and recording hot and cold temperatures, and washing dishes.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: Prior experience in safe food handling, preparation, and sanitation techniques is required.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
5. Preferred Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic, proficiency with computers and cash registers, and handling cash, making change, and counting money as required.
