Senior Sales Executive
Our client, a well-established business based in Peterborough, is looking to recruit a Senior Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity to join a growing team where you will play an important role in generating new business and supporting senior team members in delivering solutions to clients.

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire (office-based) • £30,000 - £40,000 basic (OTE £65,000 - £120,000 year 1) • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Key responsibilities
* Generating new business through outbound calls and building rapport with potential clients
* Taking a consultative approach to understand client needs and recommend suitable financial solutions
* Qualifying opportunities and passing them to senior team members for completion
* Building and maintaining a consistent pipeline of leads
* Supporting with proposal documentation and funding applications
* Gathering and reviewing client documentation and business information
* Learning to interpret financial data and company accounts
* Working towards KPI and SLA targets within a structured sales process
* Collaborating closely with senior team members and mentors
* Responding to internal requests and supporting wider team objectives
Skills and experience
* Previous experience in sales or a target‑driven environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
* A motivated, driven, and disciplined approach to work
* Confidence speaking with business owners and decision‑makers
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* A proactive and resilient mindset with a focus on results
* Basic Microsoft Office skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
