We are seeking to fill a position for a Outreach & Recruitment Associate in Manchester, United Kingdom. Role Overview: As a Outreach & Recruitment Associate, you will be responsible for engaging with individuals aged 51 in high-footfall areas, informing them about our research, and successfully recruiting participants. The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with diverse populations. This role is performance-driven and offers additional incentives based on participant sign-ups. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Engagement Approach potential participants in designated high-traffic areas such as parks, bazaars, community centers, shopping malls, transit stations, and healthcare facilities. Distribute marketing materials (flyers, posters, brochures) and clearly explain the purpose and benefits of the research. Conduct initial participant screening to ensure eligibility and collect basic participant information. Address participant concerns and provide clear and accurate details about the research. Data Collection & Reporting Accurately document participant details and ensure compliance with data collection guidelines. Submit daily reports summarizing recruitment numbers, locations covered, and challenges faced. Use digital tools, where applicable, to support recruitment efforts and track participant sign-ups. Team Collaboration Work closely with supervisors, coordinators, and fellow recruiters to achieve project recruitment targets. Attend regular team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and suggest improvements. Candidate Requirements: Essential: Prior experience in face-to-face promotions, sales, street marketing, or recruitment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Confidence in approaching and engaging with older demographics (51 age group). Ability to work independently and meet daily/weekly recruitment goals. Flexibility to work in different locations across Manchester. Preferred: Experience in community outreach, market research, or social work. Familiarity with high-traffic public areas in Manchester. Basic tech proficiency – ability to use mobile devices or tablets for participant registration. Knowledge of cultural sensitivities and the ability to interact respectfully with diverse populations. Target Locations for Recruitment: Recruitment will be conducted in high-footfall areas, including but not limited to: Picadilly Gardens Urmston Trafford Centre Longsight Sale Salford Senior Living Areas: Midfield Court Ranulph Court Moores Court Apartments Moores House Beechfield Lodge Bridgewater Manor Performance Expectations & Incentives: Field agents will have daily or weekly recruitment targets. Performance-based incentives include additional pay for successful participant engagement. Regular evaluation through daily reports and weekly feedback meetings. Compensation & Benefits: Base Sala ry: £16 per hour ( paid monthly ). Additional Performance Bonus: £7 per successfully recruited participant (must complete the study requirements), up to a maximum of £350 per month. Flexible working hours – work at peak times in high-traffic areas. Freedom to work in various locations – malls, markets, public areas, and other gathering spots.
