Overview:
We are seeking a part time Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a homely kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will enjoy preparing home cooked meals and baking and uphold high standards of food hygiene and safety.
* Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
* Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation guidelines
good time management and ability to work alone and also with the care staff
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Ordering supplies as needed
Preferable:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work well in a team environment
