Job Title: HR Manager – Employee Relations & Reward
Location: Portsmouth – hybrid and flexible working arrangements available.
Salary: Up to £67,200 depending on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrates knowledge and provides support to the Defence Solutions business area based on expertise in Employee Relations, Reward and Case Coaching.
* Provides operational advice on a range of people issues to senior leaders, managers and employee representatives.
* Supports the development and implementation of integrated Reward and ER strategies.
* Manages functional and business projects, including local policy review and case coaching mobilisation.
* Works at pace and with professionalism, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
* Analyzes data to identify trends, implications and leads local actions to address them.
* Experience operating in a manufacturing, unionised, project‑based organisation.
* Influences and coaches others in line with business priorities.
* Works closely with Senior Leads/Partners and Heads delegating responsibilities to Advisors or Associates.
Skills & Experience
* Reliable knowledge specific to Generalist HR, ER, Reward, Case Coaching, Business Integration.
* Ability to assess information from a variety of sources, demonstrating evidence‑based decision making.
* Capability to partner with and influence others, with strong stakeholder management including employee representatives.
* Previous experience working within a unionised environment.
