Job Introduction
We are looking for a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR professional with a strong track record of leading teams and partnering with senior managers in complex, fast-paced environments. Confident in handling complex employee relations matters, coaching managers through sensitive situations, analysing data to inform decisions, and driving forward people-focused projects that enhance engagement, inclusion and organisational performance.
As HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our people strategy, ensuring our practices enable us to make a real difference to people with sight loss and complex needs. Working collaboratively across the organisation to embed a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture, strengthening the systems, processes and policies that underpin great people management.
Working closely with the Director of People and Resources, you will lead and implement people strategies aligned to organisational objectives, champion a positive, inclusive and values-led culture, oversee high-quality, legally compliant recruitment and volunteer programmes, embed effective performance management, learning and succession planning, ensure HR systems, report and processes support informed decision-making and continuous improvement and maintain robust policy frameworks in line with employment law, safeguarding and GDPR.
