You’ll be paid a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, you’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Ensure that the site HR team provide a consultancy and advisory service to managers on matters of discipline, grievance and performance improvement, whilst embedding the GXO values and commitments
* Facilitate harmonious employee relations with the site teams and respective trade union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation
* Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relations issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated
* Lead, coach and develop the HR and Payroll team; responsible for all people processes during the lifecycle of an employee.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in a similar HR management role, within a fast paced and dynamic logistics environment
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to build and maintain credible and strong professional relationships at all levels
* Be an effective influencer and communicator, able to positively engage and empower others
* Be adaptable and able to work within a rapidly changing environment
* CIPD Level 5 qualified/part qualified or studying towards
