About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive HR & Training Administrator to join our HR team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This is a critical role with real impact, supporting both HR operations and training compliance across our construction sites. * Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Coordinate with colleges and manage apprentice onboarding, attendance, and performance.
* Ensure all documentation is in place for funding and certification.
* Support the full employee lifecycle – from onboarding and inductions to probation reviews and leavers.
* Draft contracts, manage benefits, and maintain HR systems (including SharePoint).
* Assist in delivering the company wellbeing plan and mental health support initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong admin skills
* Resilient communicator – able to work with site managers and handle fast-paced environments.
* Self-sufficient and adaptable – comfortable working in a small HR team.
* Previous experience in construction or housebuilding is a plus.
* Confident with Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Holds a driving licence and own transport.
The Offer
* Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
* 31 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays)

* Death in service cover
