We’re looking for a Part-Time HR Officer to support our team as Robert Lickley Refractories continues to grow, invest, and modernise.
This is a hands-on, operational HR role – ideal for someone who enjoys practical HR administration and working closely with people in a real manufacturing environment. You’ll be supporting day-to-day HR activity and helping ensure our people processes are clear, compliant, and fair.
The role
* Part-time: approximately 10 hours per week, with flexibility on how these hours are worked
* Based in Dudley
* HR administration including employee records, contracts, onboarding, absence management and general people support
* First point of contact for HR queries
* Working closely with the QHSE Manager and leadership team
* Helping keep HR structured, consistent, and people-focused
Who this role would suit
* An experienced HR Officer or Administrator
* CIPD qualified or working towards (Level 5 desirable)
* Practical, organised, and discreet
* Comfortable working in a manufacturing / industrial environment
* Someone who values fairness, clarity, and common sense over unnecessary process
