About the Opportunity
A well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in London Borough of Lambeth is working in partnership with a specialist education recruitment agency to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner to join a supportive Design & Technology department.
The Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality Food Technology lessons
* Teaching key skills such as nutrition, food preparation, hygiene and safety
* Promoting creativity, independence and healthy lifestyles
* Monitoring student progress and supporting strong outcomes
* Contributing to curriculum development within the DT department
