Salary: £29,064 - £31,022 (full time equivalent based on 35 hours per week)
Hours of work: 12 hours across 5 days (Monday to Friday) to align with the end of the school day

The governors are excited to introduce a new Site Manager role at our welcoming and vibrant primary school, created to strengthen the day-to-day management, safety, and development of our learning environment. We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual who will take pride in maintaining our buildings and grounds to the highest standard, ensuring they are safe, secure, and inspiring for our pupils, staff, and visitors. We are looking for someone dependable, hands-on, and solution-focused, with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting a positive school community.
As this is a new role to be school the exact number of hours is unknown. The vacancy is for 12 hours per week but if more are needed they will be paid as extra hours until the post is established and the contract reviewed.

* Brings experience in premises, site work or practical environments, or demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and develop in the role
* Has practical skills and confidence in carrying out basic repairs, maintenance and general DIY tasks,
* Understands the importance of health and safety routines and is willing to learn and follow school procedures carefully
* Has a flexible attitude, can prioritise tasks effectively and work independently when needed
* Is reliable, proactive and committed to creating a safe, well-maintained and welcoming school environment
