Key responsibilities:
8. Line management of the HR Assistant, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
9. Working with the Head of People to create an HR data dashboard, providing and advising on HR metrics for lifecycle activities to support decision making and identify areas for improvement
10. Managing the full range of employee lifecycle activities
11. Regularly review all HR process and policies to ensure legal compliance, excellence and continued Lexcel/ISO accreditation
12. Coordinating the full Trainee lifecycle and working with the Training Partner to ensure our Trainees are well looked after
13. Working with the Head of People to manage the annual salary review, bonus process and benefits administration
14. Serving as an approachable, trusted first point of contact for internal customers with HR queries
15. Responding to employee and line manager HR enquiries with consistent, high-quality advice
16. Managing all employee relations casework with care, approachability and empathy
17. Undertaking return to work interviews and reporting on patterns of absence
18. Working with the Head of People to develop training needs analysis and where required develop and deliver in-house training and development
19. Supporting the roll-out of any HR projects, processes and services as required
20. Engaging in continuous professional development to allow us to constantly improve
21. Providing absence cover for the HR Assistant
What the client are looking for:
22. Significant previous experience in a managerial or advisory HR role
23. BA / BSc or Level 5 qualification in a relevant field desirable
24. CIPD qualified (desirable)
25. Good communication skills and the confidence to deal with people at all levels of the firm
26. Ability to build good relationships with colleagues by building trust and credibility
27. An up-to-date understanding of present and planned employment legislation
28. Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
29. Line management experience
30. Experience of working in professional services/commercially focussed
31. Confidentiality
32. Excellent IT skills including the use of HRIS
