Are you an organised and detail-driven HR professional looking for your next opportunity in a purpose-led company? Join GRIDSERVE as an HR Administrator on a 6-month fixed-term contract, and play a key role in supporting our people-focused, values-led organisation.
🔍 What you’ll be doing
âś… Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People Team, including minute-taking, raising purchase orders, and other tasks as directed by the Senior HR Manager.
âś…Manage the People inbox daily, responding to first-line employee and manager queries with professionalism and efficiency.
âś…Escalate more complex HR queries to senior team members as appropriate.
âś…Support the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience.
âś…Carry out all pre-employment checks, including references and right-to-work verifications.
âś…Manage the leaver process from end-to-end: preparing documentation, updating systems and org charts, coordinating exit interviews, and liaising with IT, line managers, and Fleet Operations where needed.
âś…Assist with the rollout and implementation of the new HR Information System (HRIS).
âś…Provide monthly support to payroll by inputting and verifying employee changes.
âś…Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including the Anti-Bribery Policy and ISO-compliant Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
🌟 What we’re looking for
* Previous HR administration experience in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Teams)
* Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Discreet, proactive, and flexible with a “can-do” mindset
* Bonus: Working towards CIPD or similar qualification
