Department of Paediatrics, Children's Hospital, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford About the role We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly HR Team in the Department of Paediatrics as an HR Officer Maternity Cover. You will be responsible for the day-to-day aspects of recruitment and personnel administration, reporting to the HR Operations Manager. Our team has been trialling workstreams (Recruitment and HR), with a view to streamlining the service we offer. The responsibilities will vary according to the workstream within which the post holder is working; either focusing more on recruitment or more on personnel administration. You will be working in a growing department within the Medical Sciences Division. The Department of Paediatrics is a world leader in child health research and hosts internationally renowned research programmes in drug development, gastroenterology, haematology, HIV, immunology, neuroimaging, neuromuscular diseases, and vaccinology. This position is offered full-time on a fixed term contract (to start as soon as possible, running until the end of August 2026). Secondments will also be considered.
