We are a unique family-run, non-nursing, residential care home set in a beautiful location which looks after a maximum of 5 elderly residents.
The family owners live on-site, and our residents are treated as part of the family.
A vacancy has arisen for a part-time member of staff to provide good cooking including breakfast and a two-course lunch, and providing care as required.
We are looking for someone with the confidence to work alone, and to a high standard.
First aid training will be provided upon appointment if required, and the successful candidate will be required to undergo DBS vetting.
We are in a rural setting that is not well served by public transport, so it will be necessary for the successful applicant to be able to drive to work.
Good communication is essential to supporting our residents, so a very good grasp of English is required.
Part-time: 6 hours per alternate Saturdays, working a minimum of two Saturday mornings every 4 weeks with the option to work additional Saturday mornings if desired. Additional opportunities to provide cover for other shifts throughout the week as they arise.
The post holder needs to be willing to cover other shifts for holiday leave etc.
We do not require a lengthy CV, but we do need to know what relevant experience you have, and your recent employment history.
