Customer queries come via email, web chat and phone and can be urgent in nature, so prioritisation of workload and working under pressure are regular features of the role. Responsibilities Managing customer database, forming relationships with regular customers Dealing with new enquiries via web chat, email and phone Following new leads Occasionally attending trade shows/exhibitions on behalf of the organisation Pulling together sometimes complex customer quotes (RFQ) As the company culture promotes helping others, ad hoc tasks may be assigned to the job holder that are not listed above The job holder is expected to understand and work according to the requirements of the Tech buyer Quality Management System Skills or Training Confident, professional manner Enjoy working in fast paced environment Able to wor k under pressure, prioritising and dealing with several issues at once Proven accuracy inputting high volume of data Customer focused and excellent communicator – able to build relationships Desire and ability to learn and continue learning about products and services
