What You’ll Be Doing:
* Design user-focused interfaces through wireframes, prototypes, and iterative testing
* Turn complex user needs into clear, intuitive digital experiences aligned with best practice and standards
* Build and maintain reusable UI components and scalable design systems
* Develop modern front-end applications using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue
* Create responsive, accessible interfaces suited to secure and restricted environments
* Integrate front-end solutions with APIs and backend services
* Optimise performance for speed, usability, and low-bandwidth scenarios
* Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver end-to-end digital services
Main Skills Needed:
* Strong front-end development experience with React, Angular, or Vue
* Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
* Proven UX capability across wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design
* Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design
* Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
* Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs and handle JSON data
* Background in secure or regulated sectors (e.g. government, defence, national security)
* Familiarity with secure development principles such as DevSecOps
