Bellway Homes, one of the UK’s largest house builders, is recruiting a Site Manager for our Yorkshire Division located in Simpsons Park, Harworth, DN11. The role reports to the Construction Manager and focuses on delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality construction projects within set timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‐to‐day operations of the development site, providing clear direction to staff.
* Implement and oversee health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance.
* Motivate, support and directly manage site personnel, delivering toolbox talks, training, coaching and performance improvements.
* Maintain site presentation to required standards.
* Deliver production requirements in line with technical and planning documentation.
* Ensure full compliance with building regulations and warranty provider requirements (NHBC, LABC).
* Update and submit accurate production/progress returns to the Construction Manager or Director.
* Maintain essential site records, including reports, labour, plant, materials, inductions and health and safety records.
* Inspect and ensure remedial work is completed before each NHBC key‐stage inspection.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
* Prior experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager with a high‐volume residential house builder.
* Experience effectively managing teams.
* Knowledge of current health and safety and building legislation.
* GCSE Maths and English–Grade C or above (or equivalent).
* Valid CSCS card at Site Manager level (or equivalent).
* Valid SMSTS certificate.
* Valid First Aid certificate.
* Desirable: Construction Management HNC Level‐4, HND Level‐5, or NVQ Level‐6.
* Desirable: Scaffold Appreciation certificate.
* Desirable: LOLER certificate.
* Effective communication and listening skills.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Team player with the capability to work independently.
* Proficient IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
