Food Technologist

Up to £36,000 (depending on experience)
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
We’re looking for a passionate Food Technologist to join our growing Technical Team at Reynolds Food Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in bringing safe, high-quality food products to market while working cross-functionally with procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Duties include but are not limited to:
* Conduct safety, quality, and legal reviews for new and existing products and suppliers
* Maintain robust product and supplier due diligence documentation
* Plan and manage seasonal product transitions effectively
* Respond to internal and external technical queries professionally
* Carry out technical research and provide accurate recommendations
* Support technical projects and maintain QMS compliance
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
* Degree in Food Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in a food technical or similar role
* Strong knowledge of food safety and legislation (including FIR 2014 & allergens)
* Excellent attention to detail
Desirable:
* Knowledge of food microbiology
* Experience working with suppliers
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
