Sales Executive (NHS appointments Call Centre) - 3 Month FTC
Application Deadline: 27 November 2025
Department: Proactive Care
Location: London Bridge
Compensation: £24,000 - £31,000 / year
Do you stay calm on the phone, bounce back from rejection, and want to help people take control of their health?
We’re recruiting determined, resilient communicators to join our Patient Support Hub as part of a focused outbound calling team.
You’ll be speaking with NHS patients who are due important health reviews — and your job is to motivate them to book an appointment that could significantly improve, or even save, their life. You’ll be making high volumes of calls each week, handling objections, and using your people skills to turn “I’m not sure” into “Yes, let’s book it.”
This is a fast‑paced, target‑driven calling role where your impact depends on how well you connect, persuade, and keep going when you hear “no”. If you’ve worked in call centre sales, door‑to‑door, or street fundraising, you’ll recognise the buzz — and if you thrive in that environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Make 150+ outbound calls per day to patients who are due clinical reviews or other health interventions.
* Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly booking targets.
* Engage, inform, and motivate patients to book the appointments they need.
* Handle objections confidently and professionally, including from patients who’ve been contacted several times before.
* Clearly explain the health benefits, answer questions, and address concerns to encourage attendance.
* Monitor your own performance and take part in regular team coaching to improve your booking/close rate.
* Record call outcomes accurately and keep patient records up to date in our systems.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required

* Resilient and tenacious – Can handle rejection, reset fast, and keep energy high throughout the day.
* Fast learner – Pick up and apply new medical terminology across multiple clinical areas.
* Fluent in English with solid IT skills – Comfortable working on a computer; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
Highly desirable
* Experience in outbound calling, telesales, door‑to‑door work, or fundraising – Used to speaking to strangers, handling objections, and enjoying a challenge.

You'll be working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment with great opportunities for progression, and the chance to shape a growing service.
Base salary of £24,000, with the opportunity to increase your earnings to a total of £31,000 per year through performance‑based monthly commission and an end‑of‑year bonus.
