HR Administrator £26,000-£28,000, office based, central Harrogate, flexible working hours, part of a friendly team, training and development. We are currently recruiting an HR Administrator or Administrator for this small friendly team based in beautiful purpose built modern offices in central Harrogate. This is an interesting and varied role which could be the perfect start to your career journey if you are wanting to get into HR. As HR Administrator you will be involved in all areas of recruitment, on boarding, training and development. You will be an integral part of this team supporting each department within the head office with both HR and general administrative duties. You will be involved in checking eligibility to work in the UK, along with all other documentation required for the on boarding process. You Responsibilities: Assisting with on boarding processes Assisting with short listing processes Checking visa status and validity Accessing references Learning about interview processes Booking training Booking meeting rooms and ordering catering Meeting and greeting clients Attending various events Picking up extra responsibilities when colleagues are on holiday Liaising with different departments Communicating with all levels of the team from entry level up to COO Requirements: Educated to GCSE standard in English and Maths as a minimum A good attention to detail Good organisational and time management skills Good IT Skills Excellent communication skills Previous experience in HR administration would be a bonus Proven accurate administration skills Due to the nature of this business, upon successful application you will be required to have an adult and child barred DBS certificate. This will be paid for upon offer of the job. This role would suit someone who has already worked as an administrator, co-ordinator, scheduler, HR administrator or similar. If you are keen to start a career in HR this could be an ideal opportunity as we are not looking for HR qualifications at this stage but you will be given training in all legislation required for recruitment and on boarding of staff within the care and social environment.
