This role exists to own the performance, capability, and reliability of Candeo's ecommerce platforms as the business scales from a founder -led operation into a more professional, systemised organisation.
This is not a task -based role. Even on a part -time or fixed -term basis, this is an ownership role focused on outcomes, not tickets. You will work closely with the founder to ensure the ecommerce platform enables growth rather than creating friction.
The role can be structured as either:
- An ongoing part -time position (approx. 12 hours per week), or
- A 6 -month fixed -term project with clear deliverables and outcomes.
Your focus will be enabling scalable B2B self -service ordering, improving ecommerce conversion and customer experience, and ensuring the website infrastructure is reliable, performant, and ready for future growth.
Requirements Essential:
- Strong WordPress and WooCommerce experience
- Solid understanding of ecommerce conversion principles
- Comfortable owning problems end -to -end, not just completing tasks
- Ability to explain technical decisions in plain English
Desirable:
- Experience building B2B ecommerce functionality
- Familiarity with GA4 and ecommerce tracking
- Website performance optimisation experience
- Experience preparing platforms for scaling or migration
