Offer description

With potential customers and liaise with the Sales Executives in booking appointments for them to attend and present Shred‑it document destruction services.


Responsibilities

* Key Job Activities: making a high volume of outbound calls on behalf of the business daily, responding to and targeting prospects through tele‑sales activities, and creating/follow‑up prospect lists based on SAP, direct mail campaigns, online leads and vertical or specific market segments determined by the Manager.
* Completing and submitting daily, weekly and monthly reports as required, meeting or exceeding productivity and activity targets set out in the annual Performance Agreement.
* Providing daily input to the UK Sales Force, including opportunity identification and lead generation, and recording and reporting all activity required by service‑centre management and large account sponsors.
* Remaining current with external conditions (clients, competitors, business trends, new business developments, service rates and practices) so as to optimise Shred‑it in the marketplace.


Education & Experience

* High‑school or equivalent completed.
* Background within appointment making/telemarketing.
* Experience working in a sales‑driven target environment.
* Ability to work on different campaigns and adjust easily.


Qualifications & Skills

* Fully understand and be able to skilfully deliver the key benefits of the service, managing objections in a polite and professional manner.
* Good rapport‑building skills, resourceful and adaptable, energetic, highly motivated.
* Excellent oral communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows desktop environment.
* Self‑disciplined and organized.

Position Purpose & Scope

The Inside Sales Executive represents the Sales interests of the company and is responsible for positively promoting the organisation to its customers and prospects at a national level. This role initiates contact, builds relationships, and drives appointment setting for Shred‑it documentation services across the market.
