A well‑established civil engineering contractor delivering key infrastructure projects across Flintshire and North Wales. With a strong pipeline of water and environmental works, they are now seeking a Site Manager to support a major scheme involving groundworks, drainage, and dam‑related activities. The role is predominantly office‑based, supporting site operations, planning, coordination, and documentation rather than hands‑on site supervision.
Your new role:
You will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management, coordination, and administration of a busy civil project, ensuring smoothmunication between site teams, subcontractors, and the client. Key duties include:
1. Overseeing planning, paperwork, permits, RAMS, and daily reporting
2. Supporting the delivery of water, drainage, and dam‑related works
3. Managing documentation, progress updates, and programme tracking
4. Liaising with engineers, supervisors, andmercial teams
5. Ensuringpliance with H&S, quality, and environmental standards
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with civil experience who prefers a management and coordination role rather than a hands‑on-site presence.
What you'll need to succeed:
6. Strong background in civil engineering, ideally with dam or water infrastructure experience
7. Experience working with groundworks, drainage, utilities, or environmental projects
8. Ability to manage documentation, reporting, and project coordination
9. Strongmunication and organisational skills
10. SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent qualifications (preferred)
