A respected boys’ secondary school in Croydon is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to lead the school’s premises and maintenance operations from January.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all site operations, maintenance, and health & safety compliance.
* Manage a small premises team including caretakers and external contractors.
* Conduct regular inspections, planned maintenance and emergency repairs.
* Ensure the security of the school site, including opening/locking procedures.
* Manage budgets for maintenance, equipment and site improvements.
* Support school events requiring facilities setup and coordination.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Manager or senior caretaker.
* Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance, and premises management.
* Practical maintenance skills (electrical, plumbing, general repair etc.).
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
