Group & Event Sales Executive – W Edinburgh
Location: W Edinburgh, 1 St James Square, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, EH1 3AX.
Schedule: Full Time.
Position Type: Non-Management.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Group & Event Sales Executive will support the Sales management team across both group and event business to ensure the team achieves its revenue goals while delivering 5-star service to guests.
Responsibilities
* Prepare Banquet Event Orders and Group resumes as directed.
* Enter and maintain guest information in Opera.
* Maintain and update the function space diary as required.
* Communicate with guests via email, telephone and in-person.
* Conduct hotel show rounds with prospective and current clients.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.
* Liaise with Revenue to obtain bedroom rate quotes.
* Liaise with the operational beverage and food teams to ensure guest requests are met.
Qualifications
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
* Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
* Sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Previous experience working in the five-star, luxury hotel and/or events market.
* A positive mindset.
* A genuine passion for the role.
