Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the QMS, ensuring AS9100D compliance and meeting customer-specific aerospace requirements. Lead internal and external audits, including AS9100D Stage 1 & 2 certification, keeping the business audit-ready at all times. Approve First Article Inspections (FAI/AS9102) and oversee MRB and non-conformance processes. Champion special process validation and continuous improvement initiatives across all operations. Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to maintain world-class quality performance. Embed quality thinking into NPI, production readiness, and engineering design reviews. What Our Client Is Looking For: Proven experience leading quality in the aerospace sector. In-depth knowledge of AS9100D, ISO9001:2015, and ISO14001:2015. Hands-on experience with machining, FAI, PPAP, and special processes. Strong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving skills (8D, RCA, CAPA). Ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T. Experienced in managing audits and leading teams to maintain audit-ready systems.
